Hi David,

All TMP products measure temperature at a silicon junction. The features of the packaging can be leveraged to efficiently transfer heat to the silicon device. See Figure 7 of Temperature Sensors: PCB Guidelines for Surface Mount Devices. www.ti.com/.../snoa967.pdf
