DCA1000EVM: Can it capture the data normally if I reduce the number of connected 60-Pin in TI IWR1642 Boost?

Becase of our design requirement,we need reduced the number of connected 60-Pin which conncects DCA1000 and TI IWR1642 Boost .

We only have following Pins could be used now(these green ones):

As I asked ,if I only kept these green ones, and use a smaller connecter to link DCA1000 and IWR1642 Boost,can I get raw data normally?

If could,Is there any pin can still be reduced ?

If not,which pins must be kept ?

Thank you for your reply.

In the e2e link you shared, I found LVDS signals/nRST, PGOOD, HOST_INT must be connected for LVDS raw data capture.
Then what is the function of HOST_INT here?
As the reply says, HOST_INT is part of SPI. Then only this one pin of SPI need to be connected?

Sorry it was not correct in previous link. All SPI signals are required to be connected through 60-pin header in the mmwave studio use case.

Thank you for your reply.
I have a further question about this SPI interface.

As we know，AWR1642 has 2 SPI channels & 1 QSPI channel. 1 SPI channel is used as I2C normally.
So, either SPI channel is OK for DCA1000 connection? Or only SPI channel A is OK as EVM shows?
And only CS/CLK/MISO/MOSI signal is OK or not without HOST_INT? Because HOST_INT is not typical signal for SPI normally.

In terms of xWR1642BOOST EVM connection with DCA1000, because the board trace is designed using SPI channel A, I don't think you could select B as SPI channel.

HOST_INIT is required in this connection as well.

If the AWR1642 board will be far away from the capture card in real application, how we should implement or treat the interface between AWR1642 and capture card ?

Hi Michelle,

we will need you double confirm the following question,
Just for the raw data capture, we just connect the following signals to the 60 pin connector:

SPI_CS, SPI_SCLK, SPI_MOSI, SPI_MISO, SPI_HOST_INTR, AWR_nRESET, LVDS signal pairs

Right?
