AWR1243: How to capture raw data as well process them real time from awr1243

My objective is to capture raw data for at-least 10-12 hours as well process them real time in PC or onboard. I know that awr1243 + mmWave-devpack + TWS1400 helps to capture data for only 10 seconds and need to process the logged data and display using mmWavestudio. Does using awr1234+DAC1000 helps to get real time data capture for 10-12 hours and transfer over to the PC where in real time it can be processed and displayed using mmWaveStudio ? Or shall I go directly with AWR1243+TDA3x-15X15 EVM to capture and process *** display in realtime onboard ?

Hi,
With AWR1243 + DCA1000 you can capture for longer time but mmWaveStudio doesn't have feature to process the data at real time.
For real time processing I would suggest to go for AWR1243+TDA3x setup.

Thanks Jitendra. Please suggest which will be the best setup for my requirement : AWR1243 + DCA1000 + PC running Matlab/Python/ROS or AWR1243+TDA3x ?

Both of the setups have their own pros and cons.
AWR1243+DCA1000 : Can capture raw data for long duration but doesn't do the real time processing.
AWR1243+TDA3x : Capture data is limited by TDA3x memory but does the real time processing and display the result over HDMI.

Please choose which fits to your requirement more.

DCA1000 can stream real time raw data to the PC so can we use Matlab/Python or ROS to process in real time the real-time streamed data by DCA1000 ? How Long can DCA1000 capture raw data ? What’s is the capture data limit of TDA3x as compared to DCA1000 ?

DCA1000 can capture the data as long as you have memory on system. And to do the real-time processing on streamed data you can choose any shceme, one idea can be swoop in on the ethernet interface and look for data coming from specific IP adress (DCA1000 IP addr) and then do the processing. Matlab might be slow, where Python will faster. We haven't done real-time processing task with DCA1000 so support to this implementation will be limited.

For TDA3x data capture size is limited to memory of it. Please refer TDA3x data sheet for this.
