DCA1000EVM: Replaying capture data is error,after I closed PostProc onece.

Hi,

I use DCA1000EVM and IWR1443BOOST(ES2.0),SDK1.2.0.5,ToolBox 2.3.0,mmwave_studio_01_00_00_00.

I captured one raw data,replayed it onece by pushing "PostProc".
PostProc could play and replay with reading this bin data any number of times,
before I closed the window of PostProc.

I once closed the the window of PostProc,then I push "PostProc" again,
error messages were displayed.(Line :233 to Line:255 of this log text file)

I can not open PostProc again.

In order to open PostProc again, must I close the mmwave_studio_01_00_00_00 once and reset all again?

    Could you move the config DCA card step to after the chirp/frame config is done and right before staring the capture (DCA1000 ARM)?

    One possible reason for that is the firewall setting needs to be configured. Either firewall needs to be disabled or the mmwave studio Ethernet access needs to be enabled.

    Thank you very much.Please excuse my late reply,due to Typhoon Jebi.

    I disconnect the Wi-Fi network (Internet) and disable the firewall.
    Then I confirme that Ethernet was connected with Windows network properties,
    and performe the same procedure.

    But the result is the same error .

    "SetUp DCA1000" success without the error only when I press this button
    before "2.Coonection Tab Set (1)".
    After "SetUp DCA1000",I push twice "Connect,Rest and" .Because the periphery of the button was blue,
    and when I push only once "Error Occured in port close" displayed in black caractors.

    But from the answer below, I think that it may be not a correct procedure.

    The correct procedure is:
    Press through the button on the following page:
    Connection
    Static Config
    DataConfig
    SensorConfig

    For sensor config, follow mmwave studio user's guide page 22 to 25, especially Figure 9.1. Note in figure 9.1, after step 4 -- pressing "Setup DCA1000", just click once "Connect" button. At the same time, check if there is Ethernet error showing in the output window.

    For the first "connect", I didn't mean on the connection tab of mmwave studio. I was talking about the "connect" button of the DCA1000 window (RFdatacapturecard window). From those lines:

  • Hi,

    From the log, before line 170, I don't see any problem.
    After line 170, I see the operation is trying to config again. It's ok to re-config the mmwave radar, but there is no need to re-config DCA1000 and press the DCA1000 connect/disconnect button. The DCA1000 connect should only be pressed once.

    Thank you very much.

    Apparently, when mmWave Studio processed "DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua" by pressing "Run!" , it seems that mmWave Studio has already done the same processing as "Connect, Reset and".
    So by the last operation,perhaps,the system considers the same operation done twice.


    We will examine the procedure and timing of "DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua" .
