Hi I'm trying to format the IWR1443's external memory using UNIFLASH. When the FORMAT command is sent the IWR1443's UART port produces the above waveform on the rs232 bus

The UNIFLASH dialog stops --- formatting fails

I don't think my PCB has any track mistakes but the TMS line is floating

What conditions cause this output from the IWR1443 ?

Hi Richard,

Would you mind posting a screenshot of your Uniflash dialogue? Is the device able to connect to UART?

Hi I have two iwr1443boost dev boards. They produce the same waveform as shown in the post if placed in one of several boot modes other than FLASHING. I've checked my PCB very carefully and measured SOP 2 1 0 when NRESET transitions from low to high. I believe my board is in FLASHING mode, however I still get the posted constant waveform on the iwr1443 UART TX port and UNIFLASH halts as posted above Any ideas I'm really stuck

its the flash memory use the old 116 parts!!

Hi Richard,

Does this only happen with this particular demo? Your uniflash dialogue is usually a sign that there is something wrong with your SOP connections. Would you be able to post a picture of your board when this dialogue appears?

Hello Akash

I changed my flash memory to the old 116 parts used on the iwr1443boost board All is now working The SOP connections were correct
