HDC1080: NIST certificate

Thanks for posting to the e2e forums.  The HDC1080 device does not have a NIST certificate. May I ask of your design requirements, along with end application?

We require the NIST / UKAS certifications to be certain of the calibration for accuracy for FDA aspects for monitoring pharmaceuticals in the cold chain.

We are using the HDC1080 sensor for humidity and temperature measuring and monitoring, built into our datalogger.

As of now these devices do not have any NIST documentation, but we will update e2e/TI website in the future if any of our future products are released with NIST certification.

Thank you for your reply, but I do not understand if you think that in the future it may have a nist certificate or not. In the latter case are there any procedures to certify the apparatus directly?

I was referring to future products, as we would more than likely mention or publish additional information to inform the user to the fact that the device has obtained NIST certification. Thank you.

I understood but I need to know more about HDC1080 sensor. The questions are:
- HDC1080 will obtaint NIST certification in the next future?
-it is possibile (if you know it) to obtain that certification for the entire apparatus regardless the sensor's certification?
