AWR1642: About Frequency Range Setting

Hi SIr

  1. If we want to have a chirp which its bandwidth is 2GHz, we should use 77-81 band, Is it possible to set it as 76-78GHz ?
  2. Follow question 1, in TI mmWave Sensing Estimaor , the start frequency always is 77G, Can we change it?

    Yimin,

    Yes you can use 76-78Ghz frequency band though it is recommended to use 76-77Ghz or 77-81Ghz. Please be aware of the regulations on the usage of the frequency spectrum.

    TI mmWave Sensing Estimator, allows you to select 76-77Ghz and 77-81Ghz.
