DCA1000EVM: Size of ADC data packets sent from DCA1000 to PC

Hello,

The ADC data captured from DCA1000 is sent to PC in Packets. It is around 2800 packes in 400 ms. 

How much is the size of each packet?

    Neil,

    The size of each packet depends on the following factors:

    - Number of TX antennas enabled in a chirp (1,2,3)
    - Number of TX antennas enabled in a chirp (1,2,3,4)
    - Number of bits in ADC configuration (12,14,16)

    As a result, packet size can vary based on your specific implementation.

    Hello Kyle, 

    Thank you for your reply. So I think with the different configuration the number of packets transfererd from DCA1000 to PC will be different. With the current configurarion I have received around 2800 packets and total size of Total adc_data.bin file is 4MB. So the packet size should be around 1.4KB. Is it right? 

    Is it possible to see the packet size in mmwave studio?

    At this point, there is no feature in mmWave Studio that allows you to view the packet size.
