AWR1443BOOST: Running awr1443 and awr1642 parallel in the same workstation

Is it possible to launch AWR1443boost and AWR1642boost consecutively and keep running parallel in the same workstation ?

Is it also possible to run two sets of AWR1443boost parallel in the same workstation ?

Hello The robotics guy,

You can connect the multiple AWR1443BOOST/AWR1642BOOST to the same work stations and you can receive the object data over different COM ports seperately.

Hi Bhaskar,

You can look at the MMWAVE-SDK userguide and refer to the section "3. Getting started ". This provides you a step by step procedure to load the binaries and run the demos.

Hi Raghu,

Thats what we do to get the EVMs started. I am asking how to run them in parallel. I tried running 1443 launch file and 1642 launch file but when I launch one, the other shuts down. I even assigned different ports for the two evms.

Hi Raghu. I am able to get two launch files up and visualize 1642 and 1443, now I need to know how to visualize both 1642 and 1443 in the same rviz, do I need to create seperate topics alike mmWaveDataHdl/RCan ?

Hello,

The ROS mmWave driver does not support usage with multiple mmWave EVMs simultaneously. However, the following thread may be helpful.
