AWR1642BOOST: AWR1642: SRR Demo working on CCS fails to run when flashing with .bin file generated (SDK v 1.2.0)

Hi,

I am able to compile and run SRR demo with mmwave SDK 1.2.0 with AWR1642BOOST Rev.A through CCS. When I tried to flash the same using .bin file generated through uniflash, the application is not running.

Please provide a solution to this.

Hi Raghu,

I tried to run the matlab gui provided by TI to visualize the SRR Demo results. It failed to open the Application.

The same application is running with AWR1642 in CCS debug mode.

Is the matlab application failing due to the COM port selection or due to any other reason?

Hi Raghu,

The matlab application is failing with an error message of COM port selection. But with the same COM ports if I run the EVM in debug mode through CCS, the application is running without giving any error. The problem is happening when I tried to use the .bin file generated. With the xer4f and xe674 files I am able to run the application.

Hello Shreeroop,

Please check your setup. I do not see any problem if I flash the .bin file and then run the matlab gui application. I am able to see the point cloud in the application.

You can execute your matlab application from the command line as in the below snapshot:

$ srr_visualization.exe <user COM> <Data COM> 1

You should see the configuration sent to the device as shown in the snapshot.
