AWR1443BOOST: UART ports.

Hi Team,

I have query, in schematic we see only one UART come out of SoC. In Demo Visualizer, its shows two UART port: COM and DATA port. How's hardware and software works together.

Hello Madan,

The COM and DATA port that you see on the PC is due to the XDS110 emulation ports that are there on the AWR1443BOOST .

Has implementation on same UART (AR_RS232TX and AR_RS232RX from schematic Rev-A) for COM and DATA port?? if yes, please point docs give implementation(software and hardware) detail.

Hello Madan,
You can refer to the "$mmwave_sdk_install\packages\ti\drivers\uart" example in the MMWAVE-SDK.

Hello Raghu,

I'm using above uart example. My question was, using single uart interface(from AWR1443), able to emulate two different uart port(COM and DATA) over USB through XDS110 emulation. Is it correct?
