Compiler/TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Can the oscilloscope shows multiple START, STOP, and COMP_IN signal ?

Part Number: TDC1000-TDC7200EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDC7200

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hello,

The image shows the START, STOP, and COMP_IN signal. However, I would like to have multiple START, STOP and COMP_IN signal showed on the oscilloscope. Is it possible?

Thank you,

Ajeera.

  • Ajeera,

    I do not get your question properly, I see there is only 1 COMP_IN, START & STOP pins in TDC7200 EVM.

    In case you are wondering how to capture multiple STOPs then you should be capturing a longer time in the oscilloscope.

    Hope this answers your question.
  • Hai,

    Thank you for the answer, I did the longer time on the oscilloscope. Here, is the image, I obtained. It showed multiple signals of COMP_IN, however, a very small, signal of the START, STOP signal, which almost cannot be read at all.

    From the GUI of the tDC1000-tdc7200evm, the excel file saved the TOF AVG data, which is the output signal. However, is it possible to gain input signal from the GUI itself? Can I actually read the transmit signal from the GUI? Is there anyways I can read the input signal from the GUI? What can the excel file save other than the TOF AVG data?

    Thank you.

  • Ajeera,

    At the look of it looks like you have having an aliasing. Please reduce the timing window to see the START & STOP signals. You cannot see the START & STOP signal in the GUI.
