HDC1080: Send STOP condition while measurement ongoing

Hello,

Our customer use the HDC1080, have a question.

If the customer send the HDC1080 I2C STOP condition while a measurement is ongoing,

how about the ongoing measurement?

Does it abort? or re-start?

Naoki-san,

The measurement stops, therefore the user must reissue another software trigger to start the conversion. Once the conversion is complete the user can then readback the corresponding temp or humidity registers.

I understood the measurement stops.

I have a one more question.
The sequence of trigger the measurement and read data as follows,
STRAT
wirte 0x40
pointer register 0x00
Both Master and HDC1080 release the I2C BUS
wait for the measurement finished
Repeated START
read 0x40
Is the sequence correct?
