LMT87: Tref spec

Part Number: LMT87
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP235, LM94023, , LMT70

we will using LMT87DCK(SC-70) or LM94023BITME/NOPB(CSP).

TMP235 have Tref spec. But, LMT87 & LM94023 have not Tref of spec on Datasheets.

Do you have Tref data or alternative infomation?

Best Regards, BANE

  • Hello Bane,

That particular spec is not explicitly stated in the datasheet for the LMT87 and LM94023, but the transfer function equations are given so that you can calculate it based on your operating temperature range. For the LMT87, this is given on page 10 of the datasheet. Additionally, the data is given in the "Tools & Software" tab. For the LM94023 the equations are given on page 11 for either G0 or G1 selected gain.

Thanks you for your quick reply.

    Sorry.. I want tRES spec of LMT87 & LM94023.

  • Hello Bane,

That is alright. Would you mind clarifying which specification you are referring to in the TMP235 datasheet? I am not entirely sure of which parameter you are asking about. Perhaps you could send me the screenshot or page number of the exact spec you are looking for?

    Thank you,
    Audrey
  • Audrey-san

    Sorry.

They want to response speed(tRES) spec for simulation.

  • Hello,

    No problem.

For the LMT87 in the SC-70 package, the thermal time constant in oil will be about the same as the TMP235, since they are in the same package. So according to Fig. 11 and using the thermal time constant, the response is ~10s.

For the LM94023 CSP the thermal time constant in stirred oil is ~1.5s (given in the LMT70 datasheet, which is in the same package).

Additionally, keep in mind that these metrics are dominated by the PCB which the device was on during testing.

    Thanks,
    Audrey
