IWR1443BOOST: tidcde2a level_sense_demo measurement time out

Hi Dave

I import tidcde2a level_sense_demo projects and built in CCS7.2 with SDK1.1, the build successful (define REPORT_IR14_TIME_MEASUREMENT are enabled in both IWR1443 and MSP432), I flash the boards with the new built output file "isdemo_14xx_mss.bin" for IWr1443 board and "isdemo_msp432_m4f.out" for msp432 board, the flash are successful. I assembly two boards together and do the measurement with Tera term, I get "measurement time out", if I use the old level_sense_demo" project (tidcde2 from last year June), I can get time measurement and the distance measurement. Do you know why?

Hi Feng,

What is the measurement time out code? Does it say Boot, Config, or something else? Each of these is an indicator where the GPIO_0 failed to go high. Can you confirm you've made the appropriate board modifications to your IWR1443BOOST as illustrated in the getting started guide?

Yes, the board modification is correct because when I use the old level_sense_demo project, I can get the time and the distance measurement results as I told you. I use the new level-sense-demo project (tidcde2a), I don't get any measurement results the message is "measurement time out" after "start the single measurement "
