AWR1243: AWR1243 and CSI2 protocol

Part Number: AWR1243

Team,

We are using the standard CSI2 example as below with the mmWave Devpack - CSI signals seem to be active but on the scope we are not getting the correct frame data for both short and long packets. Either they are truncated or showing incorrect or missing CRC / word-count. Has this sample application been validated against a CSI protocol analyser ? we are wondering if there is something missing from the config.

C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_01_00_00_01\ti\example\mmwavelink_example\mmwavelink_example.exe

For example in below you see that the SoT and packet ID are correct - but the word count and CRC are missing. Any ideas welcome .. thanks !

  • Greg,

We have to check with extended team. It may take a few days to get back to you

    thank you

  • Hi Greg,

I guess you have enabled 4 lanes. In that case 4 Byte Short Packet would be sent on 4 lanes with each lane containing 1 byte. In this case, you are looking at SOT and Data Id.

CSI2 TX is verified with CSI2 protocol analyzer for compliance.

Can you enable 1 lane and check if you receive entire short and long packet on the lane you probe or alternatively, Use a standard receiver to look at the received data.

    Regards,
    Kaushal
