Hello everyone;

I am working IWR1642BOOST Eval Board. I'm running "xWR16xx mmWave Demo" application. No problems. But I have a problem with the "TI mmWave Demos: Drone Altitude" application. Although I follow the necessary steps in Flash programming, I get the following error.

SOP2 and SOP0 jumper plugged in. EVM in flashing mode.

Hello Faruk,

Please check the mmWave Industrial Toolbox labs page to see which device type and silicon revision as well as which mmWave SDK are supported by each lab.

Thanks for reply.

As far as I understand this app is not valid for IWR1642. Is it correct? The “HighAccuary” application has worked. I think I should use High Accuracy Tools instead of Drone Altitude? The only difference is the lack of speed data.

Hi Faruk,

Yes, the Drone Altimeter demo is only valid for IWR1443 ES2.0.

Yes, if you are looking for high accuracy range measurement of a single surface/object then the High Accuracy Range Measurement - 16xx lab may be a good choice. If you are trying to detect multiple objects then you may want to look at the mmWave SDK Demo - 16xx demo.

Thank you for relpy. I've tried two applications. Actually, I want to get the speed data and detect moving objects. As another application, I aim to mapping. Is there a document where libraries and functions are described together?

Please see the MMWAVE-SDK user guide for more information about the libraries and functions provided in the SDK. It will also point you to the documentation of the mmWave SDK demo.
