AWR1243: 2 RADARs in parallel, booting issue

Hello All,

My customer is developing 2-chip X1243 radar.

The customer has met issue at booting stage:

1. For the first boot SOP = "5" (1 0 1). There is no correct feedback during firmware flashing thru UARTп. The same situation as described here

After UART Brake X1243 sends 0s. And after that X1243 sends received data back.

2. A strange behaviour VIN_13RF2 (Pins C2, D2). The voltage is rising to 1.8 В. VIN_13RF1 is OK.

The same situation at both chips. Independent voltage sources: TPS7A8801 * 2pcs

I am not sure why, but this was not on my E2E dashboard until now.

1. Can you please confirm if the customer is still seeing this issue?

2. The best place to start these types of issues is by verifying all clock, reset, SOP mode inputs and voltage rail levels during boot - if anything is found to be in conflict with the power sequence diagrams shown in the AWR1243 datasheet, Section 5.9.1. this could result in incorrect boot ROM execution. www.ti.com/.../awr1243.pdf
