AWR1642BOOST: Azimuth Range Heatmap Maximum Range

I am testing my radar sensor with the Range-Azimuth Heatmap and I am wondering if there is a way to extend the range. Using a chirp configuration with a maximum range of 16 m, the range of the heatmap is limited to 10 m. Is this a limitation imposed due to the amount of data transmitted over UART? Where should I start in the firmware of the mmWave sensor to change the section of the radar cube being used to generate a Heatmap?

Andrew,

In the mmWave Demo Visualizer, dev.ti.com/.../, you can modify the values of range depth and range width to match your chirp configuration. This can be done by simply changing the values in the GUI. You can see where to change these values in the image below.
