Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH
Ok i've been 2 days troubleshooting this and can't get a solution.
First off windows gives me nothing like it isn't plugged in. I have also tried it on 3 different linux machine were the only thing listed is dmesg with:
[ 159.655675] usb 1-1.3: device descriptor read/64, error -32
[ 159.867607] usb 1-1.3: device descriptor read/64, error -32
[ 159.975590] usb 1-1-port3: unable to enumerate USB device
this is using with and without powered hub windows and ubuntu
lsusb and ls /dev shows nothing
it appears as though the error is related to error -32 usb drawing to much power
however i'm wondering if TI could have gotten a bad batch of the ftdi clones that get disabled by ftdi driver
Does anybody have any ideas? I saw a few questions about this same kind of thing that never seemed to get resolved.
