Could you pls expplain, how to calibratrte and put the offset in visualizer.

Hi Karthik,

To calibrate, please put a reflector some known distance away and measure. You'll get the offset. The high accuracy visualizer can be downloaded and modified. It's based on javascript and the code you need to modify is the mmw_HighAccu.js. The peak value display is around line 804.

It would be vry helpful. In the same exp I want to compare the range with some threshold, and enable any GPIO pin if the range is less than threshold. Where can Modify this code, Mr. John eplained some of the concpets. But since You are high accuracy expert, if you could explain where and what modification I have to in clear, It would be vry helpful.

I have tried to edit the line in 804, and i tried to save , by publishing to gallery but I am not able to open it, it is showing blank file.

Pls help me to get it right way.

As you told I have edited , peak value part with subtraction of 6cm i.e 0.06 m.Since this was the consistent offset.

Pls confirm is it fine?, I have exported edited file into gallery and will check it. also edited same in save stream data for offset.

It seems you are trying to compare the peak value with threshold and use GPIO to signal it. It can be put in the mss_main.c. As to GPIO, I believe it's been explained in your other thread. e2e.ti.com/.../2710599

To clarify the question: previous offset was working, correct?

New question is that measured value has variation. What kind of object was used in the test?

Yes. Offset is fine, But when the value reaches near 3-5 cm. It is giving the of about 35cm.

We have used, high reflective human hand.

The variation may be caused by surrounding object reflection. When you use hand, the person's body may also be contributing to the reflection. Improvement of your test environment is needed. Corner reflector or flat metal plate placed in anechoic chamber is recommended.

Hi, We were modifying the code of mss, and just wanted to understand how to get the value of tempRange. Since Mr. John gave the formula to calculate the range as range=temRange/(2^xyzqformat). It is not able to calculate, So just wanted to understand, How to get the value of tempRange is debug mode?
