Certification question

Good afternoon I recently bought a hdc1010 sensor, I wold like to know where I can get the sensor certification. Does TI provide/sell it? Do I get it from a external source? I know this is a strange question, but if i go to a court and show a temperature reading as a proof, is there some kind of certification to prove that the sensor "works" or is certified ?

Tank you for your answer, the datasheet says: "Unless TI has explicitly designated an individual product as meeting the requirements of a particular industry standard (e.g., ISO/TS 16949
and ISO 26262), TI is not responsible for any failure to meet such industry standard requirements.". Do you know how can I see if this sensor meet this standards? thank you.

The statement in the datasheet declares TI is not responsible for meeting a particular standard unless that standard is explicitly called out in the datasheet. There are no such standards referenced in this datasheet. The standards listed as examples ( ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 26262) relate to general quality control, and not specifically to sensor accuracy. TI has a standard for quality that you can read about here: www.ti.com/.../quality-reliability.html
