Question about thermal Response

Part Number: TMP235

Hi,

I'd like to know the thermal response spec of TMP235.

I found two data about a thermal response in TMP235 D/S as follows, but the time range of them are quite different from one another.

Which one is correct ?

And these data are for a condition of large temperature variation (around 100 degrees C),.

I guess that the thermal response spec for a condition of small temperature variation (i.e. 5 degrees C) will be different.

Does anyone have any data of the thermal response spec for a condition of small temperature variation that I can refer to?

There's a typo in that chart. The unit should be in seconds not milliseconds. The typical time constant for this package is 1.3s.

Does it mean the thermal response spec of the TMP235 is independent of temperature variation range?

The thermal time constant is an intrinsic parameter based on the specific heat capacitance of the package. In theory, it should be independent of temperature variation range. In practice, it may vary a little bit but not too much.
