With regards to figure 6.3.1.2, Transmit Subsytem. There is a diagram for the TX per channel Figure 6-2.
The radar is FMCW, and the diagram above shows 2 or 3 Tx channels driven from the same 20GHz synth.
The circuit we show implies binary phase and amplitude modulation per channel for interference rejection.
Is the AM part used to do time division multiplexing? That would be MIMO but sequential Tx rather than simultaneous. Not a problem, but different to true simultaneous MIMO.
