WEBENCH® Tools/LDC1000: Cannot Open Design in Webench

Hi,

I'm trying to design an inductive coil sensor with LDC1000, when I'm on the Designer Tool for inductive sensing application the "open design" open a new blank window or a busy retrieving design...

I have tried with different navigator with the same issue (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari, Opera...)

Can you tell me what navigator version to use and flash version to retrieve CAD & PCB from Webench?

Hi Harold,
To open the Designer tool for inductive sensing, you need Adobe Flash Player Version 10.2.0 or greater. If it helps, I just tried on my computer using Firefox (Quantum version) and Adobe flash player version 10.2.0 and it worked. I hope this helps!

Hi Bala,

I have try also with Firefox Quantum version (62.0.3 Mac OS & Windows 7) with the last flash version.

The first flash page load correctly :

But when I select Open Design (after identify) I have this window remaining blank :

Can you confirm that you have access to the second page correctly?

Hi Harold,

I managed to replicate the issue at my end. Initial debug shows that the backend still worked expectedly, issue could arise from the flash.

We will look into this and get back to you once we make a progress.

It seems like this is an issue related to Flash. We are still actively debugging it and will keep you posted once we have an update.

Unfortunately, the root-cause of the issue is caused by Flash engine not able to render the information.

Since Flash is phasing out and replacing by HTML5, we plan to stop supporting this tool and will sunset it in the future.

Hi Alfred,

I have tried to downgrade my flash player, using versions starting from 10.1 without success... Do you know if there is a working version of flash ?
If not is there an other way to obtain CAD & PCB drawings, I really need to launch the prototype for a new product integrating LDC1000 and I have no idea how to design correctly coils...
