Hello,

I got a AWR1642BOOST 1 month ago, and I have used it only four or five times, its surface became like this . Is it okay or something wrong? My adaptor is 5v 3A.

Another thing to mention is, the board was always in my flat, I haven't taken it to outside environment.

Kathy,

Did the EVM get wet or come in contact with some other liquid while using this EVM? Did you take some kind of brush to the device? Did you keep the device inside the ESD protection bag when not in use? This is kind of wear is not typical. You could have inadvertently caused ESD damage to your device.

Hi Kyle,
I never let the EVM get wet or other liquid environment, it just lays on my work table for one month, I didn't put it in a bag. I will put it in a bag from now on. Is it already broken? Is there anything else I can do? Thank you very much.

It is difficult to definitely conclude if your device is broken based only off the pictures provided in your initial post. Going forward, I would recommend that you keep EVMs inside their ESD bags when not in use. If you can connect to your device, flash applications, and run the programs successfully, then you can continue to use your device.
