AWR1642BOOST: AWR1642BOOST

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642

Hi,

How do we check the EVM version of our AWR1642?

Also what advantages does ES 2.0 has over ES1? Or where can I find this information?

Please support.

Thanks.

  • Nalini,

ES 2.0 devices are newer and are the version currently supported by the SDK under active support. You can see which version of silicon your device is by looking at the device markings on the device packaging. If your device says "502", then you have an ES 1.0 device. If your device says "502AC" then you have an ES 2.0 device. This question has been addressed multiple times on this forum. The datasheets for AWR1642 as well as the release notes provide more information on the differences between ES 1.0 and ES 2.0 devices for AWR1642.

    Regards,
    Kyle
