The datasheet says the output referred noise is typically 1.5mVpp for DRV5055A4. My question are:
1. What's the maximum noise?
2. How is the noise be measured? Is it on the validation board or our EVM board? What's the distance between the output pin and the probe?

Here are my responses to your questions:
1) The maximum noise is not specified, only a typical value. However, you can lower the noise with a low pass filter if you do not need the full bandwidth of the device. (as noted in the datasheet image below). Taking an average of samples can also help.
2) The noise is measured at validation, however, I do not know a specific distance from the probe to the output pin.
