OPT3002: I2C Addressing Issues

Hi Folks,

We are using 4 OPT3002 on the I2C Bus which requires the addressing scheme which is spelled out on

page 12 of the Datasheet.

We can see only the address '00 and '01. Is there an issue with theADDR line that are tied up to the SDA and SCL,

Dynamicly Canging, Lines?

Hi Ephi,

All four devices should show up. I'd like to try to see if I can replicate this problem you are seeing on my end first by setting up a bus with 4 OPT3002 EVMs before discussing further. Is there another question you wanted to check on that you wanted to do the call for? If so my morning is a bit busy but can give you a called closer to 3 or 4 pm CST. Let me know if this is okay for you!

Problem Solved Thanks!
You need to include the Resistor Curve for VCC vs. Pull-Up Resistance in the OPT3002 Datasheet, in the
Appropriate Section. R pull-up in our case was 1.2k.
