Is it possible to use HDC1080EVM together with LabView (or any other programming language)?

Hello Markus

On the EVM the SBWTDIO and SBWTCK is bonded to test points. You can try use a Spi By-Wire debugger for MSP430 and connect to it to be able to use C programming.
I haven't done so, but that would be my best assessment.

Hello Amit,
many thanks for your reply.
I would rather communicate with HDC1080EVM via the virtual com port (like the Sensing Solution EVM GUI Tool) but I can not find information about this interface.
Is there a description of the EVM GUI Tool virtual com port protocol available?

Hello Markus,

My colleague pointed out that the source firmware should be similar to the Sensing Solution EVM Tool for which the firmware should be there in the installation folder for the Sensing GUI

C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.9.4\EVM Firmware\HDC10x0_EVM_Firmware_source

It uses a packet structure to communicate the data, so it would require some reverse engineering to get the data from COM port.
