Hello TI,

How to Modify the device code to not wait on CLI input for configuration and provide configuration internally.

I already refer  and 

But I little-bit confuse about (e2e.ti.com/.../4745.cli.c) cli.c file use, is it usable to PPLCCount code ..?

how to use this cli.c file for provide configuration internally, need to make changes in mss file ..?

some please guide me

    Hi,

    you have to change the config in the hardCodedConfigCommands[] section to match that of the CLI you would like to use.
    I will run the example to ensure the hard coded config works and will get back to you.

    Hi Rahul,

    I was able to get the example working. See attachment for the hard-coded CLI and follow the instructions in the linked post on hard-coding the CLI

    You will need to edit the config. commands in the CLI file to match that of the configuration for the device and application you are trying to implement.

    if this is done correctly you get a printout on your terminal similar to the one below.

    good to see your example code is working ......
    i am trying from last 6 day's but not any progress with hard coded configuration (to play IWR1642 Standalone)
    On the Forum everyone say's that follow the links and instruction
    can you share me what need to do, please share the process how to make this done

    i am using ......,
    1.SDK2.0.0.4
    2.IWR1642BOOST EVM
    3.Compiler C6000
    4.Working on PPLCount Demo code (Industrial toolbox v3.0)

    i have your share file's from which i take on above mention link

    what i Try...,

    1. Rename/backup existing cli.c & cli_mmwave.c source file in mmwave_sdk_02_00_00_04\\packages\ti\utils\cli\src directory

    2. Place new cli.c & cli_mmwave.c file in directory(you share )

    3. Re-build cli library using gmake as described in mmWave SDK user guide

    a. Make sure to update setenv.bat with correct device (i.e. iwr16xx) before executing it

    b. Make sure to run 'gmake clean' and then 'gmake all' in the mmwave_sdk_02_00_00_04\packages\ti\utils\cli directory

    4. Re-build 16xx mmw project by right-clicking on project in CCS and

    performing "Re-build" as described in the user guide on the TI Resource

    need to make changes anything in Mss source code for hard code configuration .....?

    i try to re-build library using above mention link but make all fail ...

    i share error window 

    Make all work with you share cli.c file and org_cli_mmwave.c 

    but when i compare both cli_mmwave(mention above link) and Org_cli_mmwave.c there is some changes in that file

    Hello Charles,

    In debug window there is one error msg when run the code Error: MMWDemoMSS mmWave open configuration failed [Error code -203423642]

    terminal window is empty ....?

    is it because of cli_mmwave.c file ....?


    can you guide what i need to do ..

    Hello charles,

    i also try Short range radar but i get error error: Please ensure that the XXXCfg CLI command is invoked before starting the sensor

    Hi,

    To run in debug mode (CCS) you need to flash the device with a debug binary provided in the sdk folder.
    ...\packages\ti\utils\ccsdebug
    Please confirm that you have done this prior to running the application on code composer

    terminal shows some garbage data on window

    Hi,

    Can you confirm that you have the right COM port opened? you should open the user UART port and set the baud rate to 115200. 

    It seems you have the data port opened and if that is the case then the hardcorded  config is working and printing out the data to the terminal as expected.
