IWR1443BOOST: Unable to get data on demo visualizer

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, IWR1642, IWR1443, , MMWAVE-SDK

Hi,

We bought both the IWR1443 and IWR1642 boost boards. I successfully flashed both boards with Uniflash and the appropriate demo version binary (not CCS version). For the IWR1642 I used SDK 2.1 and for the IWR1443 I used SDK 1.2. I was able to get the demo visualizer working with IWR1642, but I can't get the hardware to connect when doing the same thing with IWR1443. Is there a step I'm missing here for the IWR1443? I believe it's a similar problem as this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/608142?IWR1443BOOST-mmwave-Demo-Visualizer-error. Things I've tried with troubleshooting so far: restarting Chrome, checked it's the correct ports multiple times, verified it's using appropriate 1.2 SDK version, also tried flashing/running the 1443 with 2.1 SDK version.
On another note, if we just can't get the IWR1443 working, we are thinking of just using the IWR1642? We are trying to implement a fluid level-sensing application, and I understand that DSP for this is overkill and would probably consume more power than necessary, but aside from that, are there other specific disadvantages to using the IWR1642 rather than the IWR1443 for this application?

Thanks!
