LMP91000: Bi-Potentiostat - Auxiliary electrode Response

Part Number: LMP91000

I'm cheeking the design proposed in the forum for 4 Electrode sensor (For Alphasense sensors) with my own board.  https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/t/295030?Bi-Potentiostat

It seems that all works properly, however the response of the Auxiliary is the same that the Working, and in theory, the auxiliary response have to be approximately constant. Any idea of what is the problem?

Thanks for your help.

  • Hello Roque,

By using the auxiliary pin, you are able to compensate for environmental effects, like temperature. From what I have seen, AUX and WE will be same or similar output. Please see the following E2E post which goes into more details of the 4-lead electrochemical sensor AFE.

    Regards,
