CCS/AWR1642BOOST: How to use captute.demo to get raw data in L3 Memory on AWR1642 (ES2.0)?

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I want to use AWR1642 to capture raw echo data. I have tried use captute.demo on  AWR1642 (ES2.0), but I have encountered some difficulties:

1)After debugging with CCS connection, why the board of AWR1642 does not show the connection is successful (the small light is not lit), the figure after CCS connection debugging is like this (I don't know if there is any error)

2)CCS Memory Browser needs to input the starting address of L3 memory. The manual says that it is in capture.h, but I didn't find this in capture.h.

3)Another problem is that when I use teraterm for serial port debugging, I can't get the following interface. I have nothing on my interface, even though I have set the serial port, baud rate, and also press enter.

Thank you very much!

  • Fang,

Please keep in mind that the capture demo was included in SDK v1.1 which only supported AWR1642 ES 1.0. This demo has since been removed from subsequent SDK releases. AWR1642 ES 2.0 devices would not be compatible with any labs that were designed for AWR1642 ES 1.0 devices. This lab might work, but TI cannot guarantee that this lab will work with an AWR1642 ES 2.0 device. Additionally, this SDK is no longer under any kind of active support by our SDK team.

    Regards,
