PGA300: PGA300 + 5V differential pressure sensor

Part Number: PGA300

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to use a DP86 (223-1516-5-ND) dfferential pressure sensor with PGA300. My doubt is the work voltage of the sensor (5~9.5Vdc). As the PGA300 works at 3.6V maximum, could it works if I use equals resistors dividers over BRG+ and BRG- to adjust the signal? I am worried about the error over the bridge.

  • Hi Thiago,

The PGA300 has a 2.5V max bridge excitation output. If you need a higher output, you will have to use some external source. You can use the bridge output of the PGA300 as a reference for your external source since it is quite stable, but you cannot get more than 2.5V output from the PGA300 itself.

    Regards,
