IWR1642BOOST: Narrow FOV of antenna

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

In the demo video for fluid level sensing the presenter notes using a lens to narrow the FOV. Also on another TI page it notes "Light-like: can be focused and steered using standard optical techniques". Can you please help me to understand better how this is done? The board has 4 receive and 2 transmit antennas.......how do you narrow the FOV? THanks.

Thankyou -- those documents are helpful. However as a starting point can you tell me what was used in the liquid level sense demo and in the demo on vital signs? Both of these demos used lens.....thanks.

Hi John,

We cannot provide exact specifications on the lens at this time but to my understanding, a standard optical lens was used.
