PGA300: PGA300 calbration and accuracy

Part Number: PGA300

Hello team,

I have a question for PGA300 calbration and accuracy.

My customer performed 3 points Pressure calibration at Ta = 23degC and confimed linearity. Then they perform additonal 3 points calibration at Ta = -10degC and 50DegC and checked linearity at Ta = 23degC. The result got worse.  Is it normal observation?

Best regards,

Tetsuro

  • Hi Tetsuro-san,

Can you please clarify their calibration procedure?

Did they perform a 3 pressure 1 temperature (3P1T) calibration at 23C first? Then perform a separate, full 3P3T calibration at -10C, 23C, and 50C?

If they did a full 3P3T calibration, the results at the calibration temperatures (like at 23C) should be fairly close to what they saw when doing a single temperature calibration.

If the results are far off, I would consider checking the calibration procedure. When changing the temperature they should let the part soak at the temperature for a long time (30-40 minutes) to ensure that it is at a stable temperature when calibrating. Then when they go back to that temperature they also need to soak for 30-40 minutes to ensure that they are at the same temperature that they calibrated at. Any inaccuracy in the temperature will give different results.

  • Hi Scott,

    Thank you for youe support.

I am confirming the calibration procedure now.

    I have one more question.
Can you provide source code of EVM GUI to the customer?

They want to build a kind of gang programmer for product calibration on mass production, and want to refer the calibration of the GUI.

    Best regards,
    Tetsuro
  • Hello Scott,

The customer found issue on their evavluation system and corrected it. Then the calbration issue was solved.

Please follow up only for GUI source code.

    Best regards,

    Tetsuro

  • Hi Shibuya-san,

We cannot provide the EVM GUI source code. It contains proprietary information about our compensation algorithm. Please email me directly for some additional information.
