IWR1642: Pure Doppler radar

Hi,

I want to measure just the velocity of very fast moving objects. I know that the IWR1642 radar is a dedicated FMCW radar, but is it possible to operate it in a pure Doppler radar mode? (CW). Basically have a flat slope.

Hello c64,

While not designed/supported for pure Doppler radar operation, the device does allow the user to create FMCW chirps with zero slope. This is sometimes done for test purposes.
