IWR1443BOOST: How to achieve max range

I'm using the IWR1443BOOST and I've read on multiple forums that the IWR1443 can achieve ranges around 150m to 200m. I've looked the sensing estimator but cannot seem to get anything close to that for the max range.

Is it possible for the IWR1443BOOST to achieve that range?

What parameters should I adjust to achieve that range?

Can I use the demo visualizer to view things at that range?

If the IWR1443BOOST cannot detect things at a range of 150+ m can the AWR1642BOOST detect objects at that range? I have one of those as well.

Hi Grant,

You can achieve 150-200m with both IWR1443 and IWR1642. You can load the attached .json file which I generated with mmWave Sensing Estimator. This configuration shows the chirp parameters for detecting an object with RCS 100 (A Truck) at 200 m range.
