I wonder if TI have a simple proximity capacitive sensor (1 channel) that can detect initial touch (at the moment when power is applied to circuit)? I cannot find a single capacitive touch sensor that can do that.
The reason I want this kind of sensor is because I want to make a liquid level switch. The liquid in container can be empty or full during device power up, I need to detect this initial state.
I am aware about FDC1004, but I think the IC is overkill (and a bit expensive) for a simple liquid level switch. Thanks!
