IWR6843ISK: Antenna performances

Hi all,

is it possible to have the complete (360°) radiation pattern of the antennas on the PCB for the complete bandwith? In the guide we found only a part of the pattern (-30 to +30°) and at only one frequency for Azimuth and Elevation.

Do you have some other parameters like S11 (matching) or gain?

Hello,

You could find antenna gain (Azimuth and Elevation) across multiple frequencies within 60 GHz to 64 GHz.

Thank you for the diagrams.
Could it be possible to have the datafiles in order to understand better the variation among the frequencies?
The radiation pattern are made at what frequency? The red is azimut and the purple is elevation, isn't it?

This measure was done with only the antenna or with IC + antenna?

Hello,

Yes, your understanding is is correct, red curve is azimuth and purple is elevation.
The radiation pattern are made at 62GHz frequency in this plot. I'm afraid we don't have data files available.
This results includes the Antenna and feed lines, however device is not included.

Device and Antenna results are available in the EVM user guide.
