TMP421: Asking for the TMP421 power consumption data information

Customer is asking for the TMP421 power consumption data.
Would you please help for Θja, Θjc, Pd and Pc information under VCC 3.3V case?

Hello SHH

The Θja is provided in the datasheet and depends on the package being used. As for the Pc which is the actual worst case power being consumed, it would be a product of the supply voltage and worst case current when doing conversions. The worst case average current is specified in the datasheet as 525 uA when doing 8 conversions a second.

I would need to check for Θjc and Pd for the device

Hello SHH,

I have requested for the thermal data. However it will take up to 3 weeks for the team to supply the data. Please let us know if this is OK with the customer.

Additionally the Pd parameter is not specified in our datasheets, and I am not sure how we can provide the same. If there is a reference datasheet you can point us to where this is specified, we can help better

Θjc = 85.3 °C/W

As for the Pd, we do not provide the value in the temperature datasheets. However it can be reconstructed as (Tjmax-Tamb)/Θja
