AWR1642BOOST: AWR1642BOOST

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST

Hi,

This is related to the 'Driver Vital Signs Monitoring' using the AWR1642BOOST ES 1.0 EVM. I have successfully ran the Demo on a 64-bit system and wanted to know if it is possible to run this demo on 32-bit system.

Is there any version of the 'Vital Signs' that is compatible with a 32 bit system?

-nalini

  • Hi Nalini,
If your query is about the Vital Sign GUI for 32 bit system compatibility then you can build the GUI project which is provided along with Vital sign demo package.
On the other point, GUI should run on 32-bit system as well, you can try once.

  • Hi,

I already tried running the GUI but it gives the error as-

"This version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows that you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

Please give me a little more details about building up the project for 32-bit system. Can you please mention the names of the projects that need to be built. Is it same as that given in the driver Vital Signs 'developer's guide'.

    Thanks,

    Nalini

  • Hi Nalini,
There is QT based project available at (vitalSigns_host\gui_source\VitalSignsRadar_Demo.pro) path for Vital sign GUI. You can use this project and build for 32-bit system if existing GUI exe doesn't run at your end.

  • Hii,

I also tried by building the project as given in the 'developer's Guide' but still the GUI is not running. It is still giving the same error-

"This version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows that you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

I also reinstalled the vc_redist.exe which is required for running the GUI as given in the developer's guide.

What else can I do to get the GUI running on 32-bit system?

    Thanks,

    Nalini

  • Hi,
This GUI is mainly built and tested with 64-bit system. We will check and rectify for 32-bit system in future release.
Meanwhile I would request you to use 64-bit system only.
