I want to count and locate people using mmwave sensor.

Can you suggest which kit(IWR1642BOOST/IWR1443BOOST) and lab example should I use to achieve this?

1) will I be able get the distance or location (in terms of XY coordinate ) of the person form the setup/sensor or any point in the field of view of the sensor(IWR1642)?

2) what is the field of view of the sensor(IWR1642)?

3) Is it possible to modify the field of view of the sensor(IWR1642)?

The GUI displays x and y coordinates

Please see linked users guide, section 2.6 for antenna field of view

You could build a lens to modify the field of view
