AWR1642: Cannot open data port while using mmWave Demo Visualizer

I have no problem to download codes into target board using CCS tool

But I encounter problem while using mmWave Demo Visualizer. it says cannot open port 19 (which is the DATA_port)

The recommended baud rate settings for data port is 921600.

Would it be an issue if one uses PC with Windows 7 to connect to this data port with 921600 baud rate?

Hi,

We do support Windows 7 PCs talking to the data port at 921600 baud.

Maybe you have another program that is keeping the port open while trying to use the Demo Visualizer? Could you make sure you do not have any programs accessing the port at the same time (like CCS?)

For your info, I follow through the step in the TI document to download codes into AWR1642 using CCS and then click to run codes using CCS
Do you mean I have to stop CCS after that before using Demo Visualizer?

Now it runs when there is no other program intermittently accessing the port. Thanks btw
