TDC7200: Want to measure ToF longer than 150 ms

Hi Experts,

We would like to measure ToF of ultrasonic by TDC7200. The distance is about 30 meter and using ultrasonic whose velocity is about 340m/s then the duration of ToF would be longer than 150ms when calculating. TDC can support ToF up to 8ms. Is there any solution to measure such longer duration?

Uchikoshi,

We should be able to measure a distance of 30 meters using LIDAR principles and TDC7200 device. Please check the application section on Lidar www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00663.
