AWR1642BOOST: RADAR Enclosure

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST

Does Texas Instruments offer a RADAR Enclosure for the AWR1642BOOST? I would like to front-mount the unit to a vehicle for preliminary data but I need a way to protect the device without affecting RADAR returns.

  • Hi

We have front mounted the unit to a vehicle without enclosure for test driving 5-15min with no problems. We used suction cups and camera mounts.

Are you performing more intensive testing?

Texas Instruments does not provide an enclosure. You would have to work with a local shop to manufacture one or create one from a plastic box yourself

    thank you
