AWR1243： AWR1243 Cascade

Hello,

My customer is using the AWR1243 (ES2.0) as a cascading solution.

We now see from the latest AWR1243 datasheet that the new AWR1243P (ES3.0) supports cascading，the old AWR1243 (ES2.0) has Doesn't support cascading, is that the case?

If yes, does it mean that we will not be able to use AWR1243 (ES2.0), we must use AWR1243P (ES3.0) ?

Hi,

Note that the AWR1243 ES3.0 device is not the same as the AWR1243P ES3.0 device.

I am checking internally about the cascade mode support and will get back to you next week.

Hi,

I confirm that you will not be able to use the AWR1243 ES3.0 for cascading. You will need to order the AWR1243P ES3.0 if you wish to use cascading.

AWR1243 ES2.0 devices will continue to work, but there will be no more firmware updates for these parts. You will not be able to order any more AWR1243 ES2.0 devices either.
