Part Number: OPT9221
Hello,
We have a design composed of an illumination board and a sensor board like your dev kit and we actually designed our boards based on the schematics and layout of the CDK but I am having trouble trying to use the feedback circuit correcting the illumination path delay. Also I am not sure to understand all the parameters of this correction.
I apply the same config as the one that is on the dev kit when I use Voxel Viewer because it works well with the dev kit.
But on our custom design, when I enable the correction (by setting delay_fb_corr_mode and delay_fb_dc_corr_mode parameters both to 1), the phase image I get is flickering. Like the whole phase image is moving frontwards and backwards with jumps around 1 cm but we can see that it is not noise. Do you know where this issue could come from?
For the parameters, I properly set delay_fb_coeff but for the others, I copied the config from the dev kit but I don't understand them very well. Like also for delay_fb_corr_mode and delay_fb_dc_corr_mode, why do they both need to be set at 1 for the correction to work? Because we can set them to -2 or -1. What impact should it have on the correction? Could you help me understand the related parameters please?
Finally, I don't see how this could be related but I found that if I enable the correction and if the phase_corr_1 parameter is set as 0, there will be no flickering. But as soon as we set a phase_corr_1 more than 0, the phase image will flicker.
It would help me if you see where I am wrong of if you know the origin of this issue.
Thank you in advance,
Corentin
ps: we use firmware v31 of the OPT9221
