LDC1101: Can I use LDC1101 for near distance measure?

    Hi User,
    I would not recommend LDC1101 for distance measurement. You can do it, but it will not be accurate. You can associate a certain change in inductance to distance. But the issue will be temperature fluctuations, this will lead to unreliable results. You will get better results if you choose to go with the differential configuration using LDC161x (this device has 28 bit resolution compared to LDC131x which has 12 bit resolution).
